A great escape from the daily grind for those eager to get back to basics.
If you're looking to escape and I mean really escape from the throngs of city life, then Dirk se Huisie is the perfect mountain getaway. No electricity & minimal signal this humble yet magical cottage is perfect if you're after tranquil beauty. The hosts, Johann, Appel, Elzette and everyone we encountered was super accommodating & friendly!
Definitely for a proper relaxation and off the grid, Dirk se Huisie is the place to be. That dam and lilos! (Yeah i burnt). We just cooked for 3 days and enjoyed the view with it. What a magical little treasure. We want to come again soon!
